Gudhal flower (Hibiscus)
have a powerful medicine for the metabolic syndrome. Gudhal flower is a
beautiful, brightly trumpted shaped flower brings to mind in peace. The origin
of this flower is Egypt and now grown in warm places in the world, India,
Africa, Sudan, Jamaica, China, Philippines and the United States.
All most very
part of this plant root to flower are used traditionally for laxative,
diuretic, anti-bacterial functions. Tea of gudhal is rich in antioxidants which
protect the liver, stimulate the appetite and help reduces fevers and smooth
coughs and help in skin repair. Gudhal flowers are high in vitamin C and rich in
antioxidants. Gudhal (Hibiscus) is rich in highly active flavonoids such as
gossypetin, sabdaretine, hibiscretine and anthocyanins.
Gudhal flower had
health benefits as red wine and tea. Gudhal tea significantly reduce high blood
pressure and help in lowering the cholesterol i.e. decrease in LDL (unhealthy
cholesterol) and increased HDL (healthy cholesterol). Gudhal are favourite
flowers of Lord Ganesha. It is believed that Lord Ganesha is attracted towards
the red coloured hibiscus flower.
Gudhal flowers have
importance for worship god and poojas. The gudhal flowers possesses a unique
aroma or fragrance, which is capable of healing etc. Most of these flowers are
used in Devi Puja and other pujas. Usually any red flower can be offered to
Lord Ganesha . However He is particularly foud of the red Hibiscus flower.
This
flower represent spiritual importance with reference to Shri Ganesha as they
resemble human blood which is the basis of our life and four petals of the
flower represents the four elements of Shri Ganesha.Gudhal looks like
Swastika.When scientific view when the petals of this flowers were given for
churning to a short tempered person the impact of the mental heat gets lower
down and suddenly the person become calm
and relaxed. This Gudhal (Hibiscus ) is the favorite flower of Shri Ganesha.
